Description
Here is my 1/35 scale Polish 10TP Cruiser wheel-cum-track tank prototype.
In 1936 the development of wheel-and-track tank, designated 10TP, started in Poland. Its design was based on the tank designs of an American designer Walther Christie. In 1937, the first 10TP tank was produced by BBT and was tested on the factory grounds.
The 10TP was fitted with the turret made by Bofors and powered by American de la France engine with 240hp. In 1938/39, 10TP was extensively tested and many technical problems came up. The main problem was 10TP's wheel-and-track suspension.
This is a scratch-built model.
Painting and weathering were done with Vallejo acrylics and Mig pigments.
