Here is my brand new 1/35 scale Humber scout car from Bronco.
While the instructions are slightly ambiguous when it comes to
the finer exterior details, or more precisely make no mention of
the photo-etched parts whatsoever, the overall kit is well
engineered and a good build.
After the application of the White Ensign Colourcoats enamels
the model was completely glossed using Johnsons Kleer, which was
subsequently followed with a wash of Winsor & Newton's Raw Umber
and Paynes Gray mixed together. The weathering was then
completed by using a mixture of CMK's Stardust, Gunze Sangyo and
Tamiya weathering pigments.
After many less that spectacular attempts at figure painting in
the past, I was quite pleased with this figure, and I hope it
compliments the model nicely.
A
complete build article of this model is due to appear shortly in
Military Modelling Magazine.
