BRDM-2 (Iraq 1991)
Ron Puttee
The Dragon kit was built virtually out of the box with the addition of an
aerial and flag. While not based off a specific photo, a generic standard camo scheme was
applied, athough the colours are authentic.
The Arabic grafitti on the side reads "Allah Akbar" (God is Great!), and was
handpainted as are the rego plates. Airbrushed
dust and pastels finished the paint job. The backdrop of burning oil fires was airbrushed
onto a large sheet of cardboard.
