This tiny terror is a much detailed Matchbox kit. A full fighting compartment has been added (not that you can tell from the photo) as well as scratchbuilt new rear engine deck, side skirts and hangers, tools, gun travel lock and hatches. The basic kit is quite nice and the only real fault is that the engine compartment is 1mm too narrow. Normally this might not be too bad, but on a 1/76 kit it throws off some of the lines and needed to be corrected. With the new engine deck you needed new tools because the kit moulds them to the deck. The original skirts are way too thick and the hangers in the kit are just nubs of plastic. The interior idea was kind of like an obsession. I had the references and wanted to see what I could do in this scale. I could do it, but it'll be a long time before I attempt it again.
