Description
Here is my Takom 1/35 scale Whippet tank.
This is a fairly straightforward model with generally good fit and very nice click-link individual tracks. The multi-faceted upper hull is made up from individual panels though, so you do need to stay focused during this stage of assembly.
I added some stowage to the rear boxes and wound fine cotton thread around the mufflers to depict asbestos wrapping. Other than that, what you see is what you get in the box.
I have written up the painting and weathering for a Feature Article in Issue 117 of Model Military International magazine; accompanied by a reference article on the type.
MMI is also available as a digital magazine that you can read on your PC or Mac home computer. This means it is less expensive, and that the issues are available easily on day of publication the World over.
