Tamiya's 1/48 scale Kubelwagen is a nicely detailed kit with versatile uses as a standalone model or part of either military of aircraft dioramas. MR Models accessory set will make this little kit even more versatile.

MR Modellbau 1/48 scale Sand Wheels and Accessories for VW Kubelwagen comprises This detail set is packed with 22 pieces in grey coloured resin. The focus of this set is the sand wheels.

There are six wheels supplied - five uncovered and one cast with a cover in place. The modeller therefore has the option of using either a covered or an uncovered wheel as the spare on the front deck.

A covered windscreen plus a "canvas" hood are also included.

Also very useful are the personal items and stowage. These generic 1/48 scale German items include two helmets, gas mask cases, bread bags, briefcase, stowage containers and more. These will be useful not only for the Kubelwagen, but with any German scene in 1/48 scale.

Casting quality is very good. There is a list of parts but no instructions as such. This should not present a problem to most modellers.
