Tamiya has released another of their 1/48 scale figure packages, this time a WWII Wehrmacht Infantry Set.

Ten figures are supplied in the set. They best represents mid-war era infantry.

These include an NCO, riflemen and various soldiers at rest.

The figures are typical of Tamiya's latest 1/48 scale offerings - versatile poses and highly detailed. Parts are broken down to minimise mould seam lines.

A number of bonus items are in the box too.

These are a small pile of rubble, a wooden box and five oval-shaped display bases.

There is also a good selection of nicely depicted weapons. These include Kar 98K rifles, MG 34 and MG 42 machine guns, MP 40 sub machine guns, StG 44 assault rifles and Panzerfaust, although these last two items are more appropriate later in the war.

These ten figures will have almost unlimited applications for 1/48 scale vignettes and dioramas.

Tamiya's 1/48 scale WWII US Army Infantry at Rest set represents great value with ten figures, and should provide plenty of inspiration for military and aircraft modellers in this booming scale.
