In the Box

IBG’s latest addition to their figure range is a set of Polish Infantry 1939 in 1:35 scale.

The set is packed inside a stout, top-opening cardboard box with attractive cover art.

Five figures plus accessories are included. Four of the figures are carrying rifles and one has a machine gun. All are wearing the standard Polish 1938 uniform and helmets.

Moulding quality is perfect on my sample and detail is excellent. Fabric folds look convincing too.

Each figure has its own dedicated sprue for the torso, arms, legs, head and any unique accessories. In addition, there are two sprues with eight rifles each – four with bayonets attached and four carbines without.

Also included are two sprues with general uniform accessories – helmets, optional field caps, ammo pouches, back packs, bread sacks, canteens and more.

Assembly instructions and a full-colour painting guide will give the modeller all the help he needs in finishing these attractive figures.

Decals are also included for rank insignia.

IBG’s Polish Infantry 1939 set will be a useful accompaniment to any early WWII scene or as a standalone set.
