The latest batch of Inside the Armour ITA3 3D-printed releases includes a pair of militia men from Mali, produced in both 1:35 and 1:48 scale, along with a set of six handy buckets featuring pop-in handles.

More pertinent to World War Two British armour are a range of useful accessories, including British AFV commander’s vane sights, a Churchill/Cromwell/Sherman low-profile cupola, No. 19 radio antennas and bases for British armour, a corrected Churchill engine deck, and British mid- to late-war fire extinguishers. All of these items are available in both 1:48 and 1:35 scale, with our review samples provided in 1:35.
The Mali militia figures strike a very definite pose, conveying a mix of bravado and arrogance, as one might expect from a pair of characters from this region. They are armed with an AK-47, an AKS-74U, and a rather ancient Degtyaryov DP-27. These figures are based on an actual reference photograph taken in Mali and, as such, represent a highly accurate depiction of two militia fighters from the region. Both figures are excellently sculpted by Sergiy Alekhno of Free Ukraine.

Whether you are looking for African militia figures for a diorama or accessories to enhance your British Army WWII armour, ITA3 offers high-quality 3D-printed items that come highly recommended.
Inside the Armour has also released a new set of crane operator hoods, sculpted and printed in 3D with exquisite detail, including collars and rivets. These hoods are designed for use with the ITA3 Mk.2 Stalwart with crane, but will also enhance the forthcoming Airfix Stalwart Mk.2.

I fitted the ITA3 examples to an Airfix Stalwart, incorporating a set of ScaleX wheels and a Scorpion Models crane and cab, as I already had this project underway.
