MA Mori MGP-02 Tiger II Final Version Gun Mantlet & Rear Turret Hatch

The final variants of the Tiger II featured a number of changes compared to earlier versions. One of these was a “squared off” rear turret hatch. Although not strictly a “late” feature, some Tiger IIs also featured a bell shaped mantlet with a simplified cast profile. MA Mori provides the modeller with both parts cleanly cast in gray resin. Dry fitting of the parts shows that they are simple drop fit to Tamiya’s Tiger II kit. In combination with some small alterations to Tamiya’s kit and some single link late type tracks, this conversion set would make a great change from the ordinary Tiger II model.
