This latest selection of 3D-printed accessories and figures from Ukrainian manufacturer Spalah Models focuses on a large-scale 1/16 figure of a modern Ukrainian sniper, known by the call sign “Lova”, together with several smaller accessory sets.

The accessories include set SP01153, containing 48 figures in 1/350 scale.

Supplied in a handy little plastic box, the set contains 48 tiny but remarkably well-rendered figures that will be useful for adding scale and life to large-scale dioramas and displays.

Next is the very useful SP32835 set of spent US 25 mm cartridge cases, as used by the Bradley and LAV-25. These casings can be found scattered around the turrets and upper hulls of these vehicles during and after combat, making this a particularly useful addition for anyone looking to add that extra touch of realism to a modern US vehicle.

Set SP32035 consists of 16 icicles in various sizes, suitable for adding convincing winter effects to an Eastern Front or contemporary Ukrainian winter diorama.

Saving the best for last is the 1/16 scale modern Ukrainian sniper, SP26116, featuring a sniper known by the call sign “Lova”, who is known to Spalah Models and others in Ukraine as a particularly successful operator. The figure is full of character as he carefully plies his trade.

He is depicted stalking forward with his personal-protection M4/AR-15 at the ready, while his custom-made sniper rifle is carried across his back.

The figure has been superbly scanned and printed, with the folds and texture of Lova’s clothing rendered with impressive realism. His pose is particularly convincing, making him ideal for a diorama alongside a knocked-out tank or, for those looking for a smaller vignette, perhaps a 1/16 ScaleX ground drone such as the Luty.

An excellent selection of highly useful accessories and a characterful figure.
