Ammo by Mig has been very proactive recently, bringing out new products to assist in bringing out the best effects and finishes on your models.
Here we are greeted with a new range, Shaders, which is an ink like product to use by spraying over the top of the base colours on your project to give a Shade-like appearance.
They are an acrylic based product, which to me looks very similar to the inks used by gamers for some time. This does not take anything away from modellers though – they look equally useful to us too.
The colours kindly provided are as follows:
Mig-0851 Light Rust
Mig-0852 Earth
Mig-0854 Grime
Mig-0858 Ash Black
Mig-0865 Military Green
Mig-0866 Dark Green
I like the colour options offered, and they are all useful choices.
I also think one will be able to use these by brush to use as panel liners, or to build up grime or darken corner areas on a vehicle. Time to have a play I think.
I'm pretty sure as all other products, these will be very popular on the market. I look forward to seeing just how many colours will be in the range.
