Bushmaster Protected Mobility VehicleDragon, 1/72 scaleReviewed by Andrew Judson Summary
Background The Bushmaster is an Australian vehicle well known across the world now after its use in Afghanistan. It has been very successful and effective on operations, providing excellent protection for the soldiers inside. The vehicle is now used by approximately seven other countries across the world.
FirstLook This kit represents an Australian vehicle in the troop variant.
Looking at the kit, there are three sprues of grey plastic, one in clear, a small sheet of decal, vinyl tyres, a small photo-etched fret with windscreen wipers, and lastly a two page instruction sheet.
There are 55 parts in total.
The parts are very well moulded with a high level of detail. The model is impressive for its size.
There are two marking option. One is an Army vehicle attached to 5th/7th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (Mechanised) in Iraq 2005-2006, and the other being an RAAF defence guards vehicle in 2007.
Conclusion This is a nice little kit that I’m sure many will be happy to see available in 1:72 scale. Recommended Purchased by reviewer
