Tamiya's GMC 2-1/2 tonner is one of the nicer kits around, but yet due to the subject will unfortunately never be as popular as Tigers or Shermans. This is too bad as it's a beautiful kit and Eduard has now released a PE set for the kit. The update set contains 3 large etched sheets and one sheet of express masks. Main detail parts include new front and rear bumpers, engine details (including a nice cooling fan), fuel reservoir mounts, dashboard with printed instrument dials, passenger safety straps, radiator details, complete front grille, cargo area board mounts, mud guards, jerry can mounts and straps and tool mounts. The express mask sheet is very nice and includes a variety of star stencils, rear view mirror mask and great windscreen masks to allow you to "muck up" the windscreen and leave the area covered by the wipers nice and clean.
