As the war in the Pacific progressed, the fighting became fierce enough that it was deemed necessary to protect the rather thinly armoured LVT series.  This conversion set consists of a huge photoetch sheet and is designed to work with any of the Trakz conversion sets for the LVT series (it can also be added to the Italeri kit itself) and will allow you to make a variety of different armour configurations. The main parts include armour plate for the sponsons and the cab area.  Trakz also provides extra MG shields as some vehicles had a non standard amount of them mounted.   Instructions are very clear and well thought out and clearly indicate which version used which type of plates and during which phase of the campaign.
